The ISF, established in 2019, supports innovators, entrepreneurs, and gifted students by bridging academic research and market needs. The ISF empowers Egyptian universities, researchers, and students to turn research ideas into competitive startups, driving economic growth and social impact by leveraging academic resources and expertise. It offers intense training programs, mentors innovation teams, sponsors national competitions like Gen Z and cultivates industry–university collaboration. It is currently presided over by Prof. Dr. Tamer Hamouda.
