The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched the Minister’s Award for Institutional Innovation Excellence, in line with its strategic vision to cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation within the higher education and scientific research ecosystem.
This award underscores the Ministry’s dedication to enhancing institutional performance and promoting innovative practices that contribute to national development priorities. It aims to recognize individuals and institutions that demonstrate leadership in institutional innovation through the development of pioneering administrative models, integration of innovation into academic and research processes, and the implementation of inclusive initiatives addressing societal and developmental challenges.
The award targets a broad spectrum of actors across the innovation landscape, including students, researchers, faculty members, industry partners, civil society organizations, and other relevant stakeholders. It promotes cross-sector collaboration and the co-creation of solutions that enhance the relevance, efficiency, and societal impact of higher education institutions.
Anchored in international standards and guided by Egypt’s National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, the award affirms the Ministry’s continued efforts to build a dynamic, future-oriented academic environment that empowers all members of the knowledge society.
The award is supervised by Prof. Dr. Mona Hagras, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
