The Innovation Lab, launched by Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is a national platform designed to cultivate a culture of creativity, problem-solving, and innovation across the public sector and academic institutions. The Lab aims to unlock the innovative potential of government employees, university students, researchers and stakeholders.
By inviting submissions of practical, scalable, and original ideas, the Lab provides a structured framework through which participants can propose innovative solutions that address institutional, administrative, and developmental challenges aligned with Egypt’s national priorities.
The platform empowers local innovators by providing a space for homegrown ideas to emerge, mature, and gain visibility. Selected proposals benefit from tailored technical mentorship, expert guidance, and potential implementation pathways through partnerships with relevant government bodies and research institutions.
The Innovation Lab is a strategic step toward embedding innovation within institutional processes, in line with Egypt’s national vision for institutional excellence and a knowledge-based economy.
